During the second round of Pro Stock Motorcycle qualifying at the NHRA Midwest Nationals at World Wide Technology Raceway, Angie Smith was separated from the bike after crossing the finish line before coming to a rest.
In true gutsy fashion, she later returned to ride the bike in competition in both Las Vegas and Pomona to protect her position in the Top 10 of points.
