TIE BREAKER POLICY

If a tie exists at the conclusion of the Flexjet NHRA Factory Stock Showdown season, it shall be resolved as follows. If, after step one is followed a tie remains, additional steps are to be followed until tie is broken.

1. Driver with most “head-to-head” victories during regular season wins tie.
2. Driver with most rounds won during regular season wins tie.
3. Driver with the quickest average of their best qualifying elapsed-times during the season wins tie. In a situation where one driver ran less events than the other driver, the average is to be based on the lesser number of events (for example, driver A runs 6 events and driver B runs 7 events, driver A’s average is to be based off his/her best 6 events). Should a tie still exist, the average qualifying speeds will be used.
