Racers attending the “Baby Gators” Division 2 NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series event at Gainesville Raceway, Feb. 27-March 2, are invited to attend a special Sportsman Appreciation event at the track on Wednesday night, Feb. 26.

Presented by Laris Motorsports Insurance and Right Trailers, the NHRA Sportsman Appreciation event will take place from 5-6:30 p.m. inside the Top Eliminator Club at Gainesville Raceway.

Drinks will be available courtesy of Laris Motorsports Insurance (there also will be an additional cash bar), and an ice cream truck will be on hand thanks to Right Trailers, with additional snacks provided by Mission Foods.

The event is free and open to all racers, family, and crew participating at the Baby Gators.

“We look forward to seeing our great Sportsman racers and saluting them as we kick off the 2025 season,” said NHRA President Glen Cromwell. “Thanks to our friends at Laris Motorsports Insurance and Right Trailers, who support NHRA Sportsman racers through their various programs, and our partners at Mission Foods, we’re going to give them all a night to remember before they climb into their race cars for the weekend and do what they do best.”
