The October 2024 issue of NHRA National Dragster, packed with national event coverage and championship drama, is now online in digital format and in the mail in its traditional print format to NHRA Members around the world.

The jam-packed issue includes National Dragster’s traditional comprehensive pits-to-finish-line coverage of three crucial Countdown to the Championship events – the Pep Boys NHRA Nationals in Reading, the NHRA Carolina Nationals in Charlotte, and the NHRA Midwest Nationals in St. Louis – plus all of the stats and analysis any race fan could want.

There’s so much more racing action in the issue, including key NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series divisional events, the NHRA Summit Racing Series Finals, the NHRA Hot Rod Heritage Racing Series, the NHRA National Open series, the Jr. Drag Racing League Eastern Conference Finals, and the annual Halloween Classic from Firebird Raceway.

Our columnists offer some interesting and broad views as three-time world champ Luke Bogacki, who’s deep in the hunt for a fourth title, shares his perspective of the battles raging for the championships in the Lucas Oil Series and Brian Lohnes talks about championship pressure, and ND Editor Phil Burgess salutes NHRA’s “women of power” for their latest accomplishments.

Among those accomplishments is an amendment to NHRA’s Driver Replacement Policy designed to support female racers who are starting a family, the first of its kind in motorsports. Leah Pruett steps up to the interview microphone to discuss her role in the new amendment and what it means to female racers in all of motorsports.

Efficient engine cylinder filling in the interesting topic of this issue’s Racing Technology column, and ND Senior Editor Kevin McKenna announces his pick for Sportsman Racer of the Month.

All that and much more in the October issue of National Dragster!
