In a scene that could be taken from a Southern California dragstrip a half century earlier, classic Nitro Funny Car racing and In-N-Out Burgers will converge when the Legends Nitro Series hosts the second round of its 10-race championship at In-N-Out Burger Pomona Dragstrip on March 21-24 at the West Coast opener of the NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series. Modern Warriors “Your Tactical Specialist” has stepped up to present the popular series in front of the thousands in attendance and viewers watching the FOX Sports broadcast.

In addition to returning Legends Nitro Series champion Bobby Cottrell in Bucky Austin’s dominant ’69 Camaro, the field will see some familiar faces along with competitors joining the Legends Nitro Series for the first time. Battling Cottrell for the coveted Wally will be Geoff Monise in “Quarter Pounder,” Jeff Arend in “Problem Child,” Tim Boychuk in “Happy Hour,” Nathan Sitko in “Bubble Up,” Derrick Moreira in “Nitro Junkies,” Ryan Horan in “Infinity Plumbing Designs,” Jon Capps in “Speed Sport,” Mike Peck in “Instigator,” and Don Knoblauch in “Atomic Punk.”

The Legends Nitro Series returns to In-N-Out Burger Pomona Dragstrip for the second time after a successful debut in 2023. Notably, multitime Top Fuel winner Cory McClenathan scored the victory at last year’s event in the Mac Attack Trans Am.
