Brittany Force will drive the Mark Christopher Auto Center Chevrolet/Monster Energy Top Fuel dragster in this weekend’s Lucas Oil NHRA Winternationals at In-N-Out Burger Pomona Dragstrip.

“It’s an honor and a pleasure to support and be part of John Force Racing,” said Mark Christopher Auto Center Chevrolet president Chris Leggio, a longtime JFR friend and supporter. “And we’re especially excited to be more involved with Brittany and her dynamic team of professionals.”

“Team Chevy has been a part of the JFR family since 2015, but our friendship with Chris Leggio and the Mark Christopher brand go back even farther,” said two-time world champ Force. “The Mark Christopher Auto Center is our local Chevrolet dealer that we use in California and have a wonderful relationship with. Our families do dinners together and have even attended Rams games over the years. I’m excited to run Mark Christopher colors this weekend and chase down our first win of the season.”

While Brittany Force lost in the first round of Top Fuel eliminations of the season-opening Amalie Motor Oil NHRA Gatornationals in Gainesville two weeks ago, she took some consolation that her Monster Energy Top Fuel dragster managed to finish runner-up in the Pep Boys NHRA Top Fuel NHRA All-Star Callout exhibition event on Saturday, March 9.

With Pomona Dragstrip being her home track, the daughter of team patriarch John Force is looking for a big rebound this weekend.

“Going into Pomona, we need to see better results on race day, and in order to do that, we need to make more consistent runs, we need to qualify top five and go some rounds on race day,” she said. “We'd like to win this thing.

“It's Pomona, and I've won there in the past. This David Grubnic [crew chief] team set the national mph record there back in 2022 at 338.94 mph. So, we have been successful on this track. We just need to kind of regroup and get back on track.”

Force will get a lot of support from Mark Christopher Auto Center Chevrolet, which is based in Ontario, Calif. The dealership was originally started by Charles and Shirley Leggio, who purchased it in 1975 and named it after their sons, Mark and Christopher.

Since then, the family-owned and -operated car dealership has been serving Southern California drivers from communities such as Ontario, Riverside, Pomona, Chino, Rancho Cucamonga, Corona, and others for nearly 50 years.

Mark Christopher Auto Center – which is a winner of the prestigious Edmunds Five Star Car Dealer Award – is proud to be one of the largest and most trusted auto dealerships in California.

Much like the John Force family, Mark Christopher Auto Center is also very family-oriented. With a strong belief in giving back to the community that has supported it for so many years, the dealership has helped raise more than $2 million for local charities, nonprofits, and other organizations.
