Tim Gibbons will return to Funny Car competition at the upcoming Ford Performance NHRA Nationals, wheeling the Terry Haddock Racing entry.

Gibbons' return will celebrate what the Gibbons team is calling “The Miracle of Bekki Bullert.” Bullert, the co-owner of Gibbons’ primary sponsor Big Time Pest Control, was diagnosed with Stage 4 colon cancer earlier this year and is now cancer-free, which the family attributes to her “will to fight and live, as well as a tremendous outpouring of prayers, the miracle of God’s healing.”

“This race is already a victory, and I'm really excited to share a special message on the car for this miracle,” said Gibbons. “We are also very excited to reunite with Terry Haddock Racing and see how we fare against a pretty stout field of 21 Funny Cars. Terry has been running extremely well with career-best e.t.s and speeds multiple times this year, and I'm excited to finally be in a competitive car.”

The Gibbons team, which is based in Northern California, is also developing plans to compete full time on the NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series tour in 2025 with the backing of Big Time Pest Control and new sponsors they plan to introduce to the world of NHRA Drag Racing.

In addition to the support of Mike and Bekki Bullert at Big Time Pest Control, the team also receives backing from Steve Roberts of Crown Motors Ford; Demo Mittry of Mittry Construction and Heavy Equipment; Castle Rock Trucks; Whiskeytown Barbecue Company; Specialty Wraps of New Braunfels, Texas; Greg Russell of Greg Russell Designs “for always making our cars look good, and a special thanks to Terry and Heather Haddock and the entire THR team, and, last but not least , God, for all things are possible through him.”
