The Wally Parks NHRA Motorsports Museum launched the Wally Parks NHRA Nostalgia Nationals presented by Holley in Bowling Green, Ky., over the 2023 Father's Day weekend.  The Wally Parks NHRA Motorsports Museum is an independent California nonprofit 501(c)(3) educational and cultural organization that was the dream of NHRA Founder Wally Parks.

The Museum’s mission is to celebrate the impact of motorsports on American culture. The Museum collects, preserves, exhibits, and interprets the vehicles, stories, and artifacts that represent America’s affection for, and the influence of, automotive speed and style in all its forms. The Museum is the steward of the history of the National Hot Rod Association. It collects, preserves, and interprets the history of the NHRA and drag racing; obtains items of lasting interest or value relating to the sport of drag racing and the American hot rod culture; cares for and displays these items in an institution owned or controlled by the Museum and is open to the general public.

The Museum sponsors and carries on activities like the 2023 Wally Parks NHRA Nostalgia Nationals in Bowling Green, Ky., to foster a better understanding of the history, people, and development of the sport of drag racing and the American hot rod culture. We thank you for your continued attendance and overall support of Wally Parks’ vision and the Museum.
