C&H Motorsports has signed veteran NHRA driver Bret Williamson to pilot the C&H Motorsports Top Alcohol Funny Car for the remainder of the 2023 NHRA season.  

Williamson was first exposed to drag racing in the mid-1960s at the side of his father, Don, who drove one of the first Funny Cars in 1965. Bret received his Alcohol Dragster license at age 16 and started driving a Funny Car before he turned 18. He has raced in many classes at tracks all over the United States and as far away as Japan.  Most recently, Bret won the 2022 March Meet and 2022 Boise Nightfire Nationals event in a Nostalgia Top Fuel car. Bret also races in the Pro Mod class at the annual Hot Rod Reunion in October. 

C&H Motorsports has shown some marked improvement recently when they won rounds at the 2023 NHRA Lucas Oil Winternationals with Williamson filling in for Randy Parker, and at the Las Vegas Four-Wide Nationals with Parker driving. Williamson’s next event with C&H Motorsports will be the 46th annual NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series double header at Woodburn Dragstrip in Woodburn, Ore., July 12-16.

Parker, who has driven for the team the past three seasons, will be concentrating on his roles as crew chief for his wife, Kim Parker, in her A/Fuel Dragster owned by Tracy Copeland. Randy will also continue building, testing, and tuning the nitro injected A/Fuel Funny Car that the C&H Motorsports team will be debuting in the near future.
