As the 2023 NHRA Camping World Drag Racing Series prepares to head down the home stretch, catch up on everything in the NHRA world in the new issue of NHRA National Dragster magazine, which is now online in digital format and in the mail in its traditional print format to NHRA Members around the world.

This issue is packed from cover to cover with exciting racing from NHRA series and tracks from coast to coast and highlighted by in-depth features on people you need to know about.

On the racing coverage front, the staff recaps the Menards NHRA Nationals presented by Pet Armor in Topeka and the Lucas Oil NHRA Nationals with incisive coverage, award-winning photography, and a deep trove of stats. We also cover the Sportsman action from the conclusion of the rain-delayed NHRA New England Nationals and offer a quick look at the results of the Dodge Power Brokers NHRA U.S. Nationals, then pack in action from the NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series and National Open from Divisions 1, 3, 5, and 6, as well as NHRA Hot rod Heritage Racing Series action from Firebird Raceway.

Our trio of features will introduce you to second-generation Comp racer Kayla Mozeris and to enterprising multi-class racer and promoter Tyler Bohannon, and we also have the colorful adventure of doorslammer legend Rickie Smith taking a ride in Scott Palmer’s Top Fuel car.

The issue is packed with the latest news, including an interview with Angelle Sampey about her new plans in the Top Alcohol Dragster and Top Fuel classes, as well as insightful commentary from world champion Luke Bogacki who wonders out loud – and explains in detail – whether it was harder to win a race today or years ago.

On the tech front, Evan Smith takes a deep dive into wheelie bars, explaining how they’re there to do much more than stop a massive wheelstand.

All this and much more in our September issue.
