Four-Wide Nationals

The Circle K NHRA Four-Wide Nationals will feature thrilling four-wide competition in eight classes: Top Fuel, Funny Car, Pro Stock, Pro Stock Motorcycle, Top Alcohol Dragster, Top Alcohol Funny Car, FuelTech NHRA Pro Mod, and Flexjet NHRA Factory Stock Showdown — but there’s almost as much excitement going on off the track as on at zMAX Dragway.

One of the first things that fans will see entering the pits is a new fan-friendly layout that positions the Top Fuel and Funny Car teams and midway directly behind the main grandstands, and that’s where the bulk of the off-track action will take place, especially on the Nitro Alley Stage, which will host the stars of the NHRA in popular events such as Nitro School, meet and greets, music, and much more.

FRIDAY

The Vance & Hines Pro Stock Motorcycle team will take part in an autograph session at the Mission Foods Display at 2 p.m.

"Just the Basics" with NHRA Arizona Nationals Pro Stock winner Camrie Caruso will hit the Nitro Alley Stage at 2:30 p.m.

A half-hour later, "10 Questions with Jason Logan Featuring Joey Gladstone" will take place on the Nitro Alley Stage at 3 p.m.

The Salisbury High School Marching Band will also do three performances Friday, one in the midway, one in the pits, and one trackside.

The highlight of the day will be two NHRA Camping World Drag Racing Series qualifying sessions, including night pyrotechnics under the lights at zMAX Dragway.

SATURDAY

Toyota drivers will take part in an autograph session at the Toyota Display at 10:45 a.m.

Learn the basics and details of NHRA nitro racing at Nitro School Presented by Total Seal with Tommy DeLago, co-crew chief for Top Fuel racer Justin Ashley, on the Nitro Alley Stage at 11 a.m.

At the same time, NHRA’s Pro Stock Motorcycle rider will take part in an autograph session at the Suzuki display on the midway.

Fans will be awed by a Four-Wide Skydive Drag Race at approximately (1:15 p.m., or after Pro Stock qualifying session 3), Parachutists Patrick Kaye (black and yellow parachute), Ty Losey (white, orange, and blue parachute), Travis Mills – (orange & blue parachute) and Justin Price (blue, white, and black parachute) will “race” to a finish on both sides of the track.

NHRA National Dragster Senior Editor Kevin McKenna will be on the Nitro Alley Stage right after the event’s third nitro qualifying session (approximately 1:30 p.m.) followed by the Pro Mod driver autograph session at 1:45 p.m. at the Nitro Alley Stage.

The Concord High School marching band will perform throughout the day.

SUNDAY

Race fans at zMAX Dragway can enjoy the special pre-race ceremony that introduces and celebrates each of the drivers racing for the prestigious Wally on Sunday and includes the fan-favorite SealMaster NHRA Track Walk.

The final can’t-miss experience of any NHRA event is the winner’s circle celebration on Sunday after racing concludes, where fans are invited to congratulate the event winners.
