Seven champions were crowned in NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series competition at the Dodge Power Brokers NHRA Mile-High Nationals at Bandimere Speedway.

Scott Burton collected his fourth NHRA Wally after defeating Jay Storey in the final round of Super Stock. Burton, a Denver winner in 2011, won the double-breakout final with a 10.043 on his 10.05 dial. [video]

John Brimer won for the seventh time in his career and third in Denver when he successfully defended his 2022 Mile-High Nationals title in Stock. Brimer overcame opponent Norman Warling’s nearly perfect reaction time to win with a 9.561 on his 9.55 dial. [video]

Dale Maher, the 2005 Denver winner, returned to the Bandimere Speedway winner’s circle following a Super Comp final-round win against Luke Shumard. Maher won the double-breakout final, 9.486 to 9.471 on the 9.50 index. [video]

A narrow red-light by Mark Price allowed Norman Brungardt to claim his first NHRA victory in Super Gas. Brunghardt would have been tough to beat regardless with a .019 light and a 10.502 on the 10.50 index. [video]

Dan Smith earned the win in Super Street with a solid run in the final against opponent Richard Larson. Smith left with a .026 light and ran 10.505 on the 10.50 index to stop Larson’s 11.481 breakout. [video]

Bri Bergh became a first-time winner in Right Trailers Top Sportsman following an impressive performance in Denver. Bergh coupled a .017 light and a 7.125 on her 7.12 dial to stop Kelly Land, who posted a 7.304 against a 7.27 prediction. [video]

Josh Herman left first in the final of Right Trailers Top Dragster and held on for the victory against Kevin Burnett. Herman used a 7.925 on his 7.91 dial to seal the title. [video]
