The new issue of NHRA National Dragster magazine, spotlighting coverage from the season-opening Lucas Oil NHRA Winternationals  presented by ProtectTheHarvest.com and packed with other features of NHRA racers, is available online and in the mail to NHRA members around the world.

Erica Enders, winner of the historic 900th NHRA Pro Stock event, is featured on the cover, leading into comprehensive coverage of the annual season lidlifter in Pomona. Our complete coverage touches every class in competition with analysis, stats, and photos, and the online digital version also includes embedded videos from final rounds.

Columnists Luke Bogacki, the reigning NHRA Super Gas world champ, WFO Radio’s Joe Castello, and National Dragster Editor Phil Burgess share their insights about the season’s launch, and we interview Funny Car racer Alex Miladinovich following his nasty crash in Pomona.

Top Alcohol Dragster sensation Jackie Fricke and rising Pro Stock Motorcycle powerhouse Joey Gladstone are featured in the magazine, tracking their ascent into the elite of their classes. We also take a look at a foursome of racers – Edmond Richardson, Jeff Taylor, Eddie Krawiec, and Doug Kalitta – who are one victory away from reaching the 50-wins milestone and salute “Big Daddy” Don Garlits’ recent 90th birthdate with a gallery of photos spanning his amazing career.

We’ve also got a 2022 season preview of the NHRA Summit Racing Equipment Jr. Drag Racing League season and a feature on JDRL racer Gabbie Poole, and we offer up coverage from the 2022 NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series season opener at South Georgia Motorsports Park.

On the technical side, we take an in-depth look at where the runner meets the road, discussing everything racing tires, from how to pick the right size and construction, how to take care of them, and how to do the proper kind of burnout.
