The third time was the charm for Adam Hickey, a past U.S. Nationals and SPORTSnationals Comp runner-up, as he collected his first career national event win, and it will be one he won’t forget. His opponent was supposed to be Australian national champion Jason Grima, but Grima crashed heavily on his semifinal bye run and couldn’t make the call.
