The New Englander Funny Car team will have the backing of Best Painting of the Lehigh Valley for the Mopar Express Lane NHRA Nationals Presented By Pennzoil at Maple Grove Raceway.

The New Englander team is comprised of veterans of the sport including Rhea Goodrich, Paul Weiss, Mike Throckmorton, and driver Mike Smith, who first joined forces in 2011.

The sponsorship is a first for Best Painting of the Lehigh Valley, which specializes in interior and exterior painting and consultation services for residential, commercial and institutional customers. Owners Will Best and Chris Monaco are excited about their debut in the sport

“The NHRA Mopar Nationals is a major sporting event in our area and we see a great opportunity to increasing our business by being associated with the New Englander Funny Car team,” Monaco said.

Our group is pleased to be associated with Best Painting,” said Weiss. “We believe there is potential for substantial business success as many of the fans attending the Mopar Nationals are from the Lehigh Valley area.”

The team also enjoys major associate sponsorship from Wulff Pumps, Jim “Wombat” Wemett, NJV Advisors Inc., and Mustang Madness.
