Elite Motorsports will be at full strength once again in 2020. Team owner Richard Freeman announced the extension of two-time world champion Erica Ender's deal with Melling Performance during qualifying at the Auto Club NHRA Finals in Pomona, but was not done delivering good news at Auto Club Raceway.

Freeman also announced Pro Stock rookie Aaron Stanfield, who is no rookie to drag racing, will compete full time for Elite Motorsports in 2020. He will join a veteran stable of racers that includes Alex Laughlin and Jeg Coughlin Jr. Stanfield made his Pro Stock return this season and competed in all six NHRA Countdown to the Championship events. He will make a run for his first Pro Stock championship with the Oklahoma-based team.

Freeman teased a pair of potential part-time competitors and said Matt Hartford, who competed full-time for the first time in his Pro Stock career, may return in 2020.
