NHRA officials announced today that Elite Motorsports has been named the presenting sponsor for the E3 Spark Plugs NHRA Pro Mod Drag Racing Series presented by J&A Service portion of the upcoming Fitzgerald USA NHRA Thunder Valley Nationals, which takes place this weekend at Bristol Dragway. Race fans will be treated to the thrilling action of the E3 Spark Plugs NHRA Pro Mod Drag Racing Series presented by J&A Service in Bristol, and the class has already delivered plenty of exciting action in 2018. More than 30 drivers will compete for a victory in the talent-rich class at Thunder Valley as the season hits the halfway mark. The class offers something unique for every kind of hot-rodding enthusiast, highlighted by historic muscle cars like the ’67 Mustang, ’68 Firebird and ’69 Camaro, as well as a variety of late model American muscle cars. Producing more than 3,000 horsepower, the suspended door pro mod cars travel the quarter-mile in less than six seconds at speeds of more than 250 mph.

“Bristol Dragway is a great place for fans to take in all the thrilling action of the E3 Spark Plugs NHRA Pro Mod Drag Racing Series presented by J&A Service,” said Brad Gerber, NHRA vice president and chief development officer. “Elite Motorsports has been a significant name in the Pro Stock world, and we are excited to see them move into the Pro Mod class as a race team and an event partner as well.”

Its current Pro Stock driver lineup also includes standouts like Jeg Coughlin Jr., Vincent Nobile, Alex Laughlin and Matt Hartford. The company also made its NHRA Pro Mod debut earlier this season, and Enders will be racing an Elite Motorsports Camaro this weekend at Bristol Dragway in the E3 Spark Plugs NHRA Pro Mod Drag Racing Series presented by J&A Service class.
