Al-Anabi Performance has been named the presenting sponsor for the E3 Spark Plugs NHRA Pro Mod Drag Racing Series presented by J&A Service portion of the upcoming NGK Spark Plugs NHRA Four-Wide Nationals, which takes place April 27-29 at zMAX Dragway. It is the third of 12 races during the 2018 E3 Spark Plugs Pro Mod Drag Racing Series presented by J&A Service season.

In Charlotte, race fans will be treated to incredible four-wide racing action of the E3 Spark Plugs NHRA Pro Mod Drag Racing Series presented by J&A Service, which made its four-wide racing debut at the 2017 event, providing non-stop thrills and action. With an ultra-talented roster that will feature more than 30 standouts in Charlotte, the class offers something unique for every kind of hot-rodding enthusiast, and is highlighted by historic muscle cars like the ’67 Mustang, ’68 Firebird and ’69 Camaro, as well as a variety of late model American muscle cars. Producing more than 3,000 horsepower, the suspended door pro mod cars travel the quarter-mile in less than six seconds at speeds of more than 250 mph.

“It was exciting to see the E3 Spark Plugs NHRA Pro Mod Drag Racing Series presented by J&A Service make its four-wide racing debut at zMAX Dragway last year, and we know the class will provide more memorable moments this year at one of the biggest spectacles in motorsports,” said Brad Gerber, NHRA vice president and chief development officer. “Al-Anabi Performance is a great partner and supporter of the class, as evidenced by their work with a number of race teams.”

Al-Anabi Performance designs and manufactures high performing components for the worldwide drag racing community, working closely with several top teams in the NHRA Pro Mod class. Al-Anabi Performance is sponsoring five teams in the class at Charlotte, including defending event champion Mike Castellana, who had two wins and finished second in points in 2017, Gainesville runner-up Mike Janis, veteran Richie Stevens, Brandon Snider and Todd Tutterow.
