Torrence is second off the line and has the lead by the time they went by the Christmas tree and never trailed from there on for the win. Torrence wins his fifth 4-wide event and his 41st Top Fuel Wally. Kalitta was third off the starting line and started using up the engine on the top end, but held on for the runner-up. He did oil the track and this is his third of the season and will cost him 15 points. Millican finished third... Finish Order & Margins: 1. Steve Torrence was 0.0600 sec./about 24 feet ahead of 2. Doug Kalitta, who was 0.059 sec./about 25 feet ahead of 3. Clay Millican, who was 0.785 sec./more than 100 feet ahead of 4. Antron Brown
