NHRA SPORTSnationals

For the 2024 season, the NHRA SPORTSnationals events have been significantly updated to offer Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series sportsman competitors even more thrilling opportunities to showcase their talents at a national event level. This year, the schedule proudly features two distinct and eagerly anticipated events.

The JEGS SPORTSnationals makes a grand return to National Trail Raceway in Columbus, Ohio. Scheduled for July 10-11, 2024, this event is integrated into the adrenaline-packed JEGS SPEEDweek, a Lucas Oil competition double-header that spans five action-packed days. This venue, deeply embedded in the history and tradition of the JEGS SPORTSnationals, promises to deliver a spectacular drag racing spectacle, celebrating the sport's vibrant community and competitive spirit.

Following this, the NHRA welcomes back the Laris Motorsports Insurance Cajun SPORTSnationals after an eight-year hiatus, setting the stage for a festive reunion at No Problem Raceway in Belle Rose, Louisiana, from May 3-5, 2024. Participants and fans alike can anticipate a weekend brimming with Cajun hospitality, where the festive atmosphere and the spirit of camaraderie are as much a part of the event as the high-octane competition on the track.

Both events in 2024 are designed to highlight the exceptional talent within the Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series, offering sportsman competitors a national-level platform to compete for top honors and recognition. With a commitment to delivering an unmatched racing experience for competitors and fans, these SPORTSnationals events are set to be a highlight of the NHRA season, underscoring the NHRA's dedication to celebrating the skill, passion, and dedication of drag racing's sportsman class.
