Paul Lee will return to Funny Car competition at the upcoming NHRA Potomac Nationals presented by JEGS with PowerEdge as the primary sponsor partner on the Paul Lee Racing Dodge Charger.

PowerEdge branding will be displayed on Lee’s Nitro Funny Car for the upcoming  NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series events at Maryland International Raceway, Sonoma Raceway, Pacific Raceways in Seattle, and The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

“We’re excited to get back out there and continue building on the momentum this team has created,” said Lee. “The competition in nitro Funny Car is as tough as ever, but our group has been working hard, and we’re ready to get back on track with the PowerEdge brand.”

Denso has been with Paul Lee Racing from the beginning and will expand its sponsorship to include PowerEdge as the primary partner for the team at these select race events. PowerEdge, which offers high-quality and durable aftermarket starters, alternators, and diesel aftertreatment products, is a new line of competitively priced aftermarket products from the Denso brand and backed by the service and support of Denso Products and Services Americas Inc.

“Having Denso bring the PowerEdge program to Paul Lee Racing is a tremendous addition for our team,” said Lee. “We’ve built a lot of momentum over the past few seasons as a team, and partnerships like this help us continue competing at a high level. We’re excited to represent PowerEdge and deliver strong results throughout the season.”

The relationship between PowerEdge and Paul Lee Racing highlights the value of aligning two performance-driven brands on one of motorsports’ biggest stages. Through the partnership, PowerEdge and Denso continue to expand their reach within the automotive industry while engaging directly with drag racing fans, customers, and business partners throughout the season.

”We’re proud to partner with Paul Lee Racing to bring our brand to one of the most dynamic platforms in motorsports,” said Lisa Michler, manager of marketing and communications. “This collaboration reflects our commitment to performance, reliability, and innovation — values that are essential both on the track and in the products we deliver to our customers every day. We’re excited to connect with racing fans throughout the season and showcase the strength of the PowerEdge lineup alongside a team that shares our drive to win.”
