Changing weather conditions Sunday evening at the Mopar NHRA Las Vegas Nationals powered by Dodge pushed the remaining racing action to Monday morning, Nov. 2, at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. NHRA responded with a quick pivot to bring the conclusion to fans on NHRA.tv and YouTube.

The streaming coverage featured the Summit Racing Series presented by Hoosier E.T. championship action and the Top Alcohol Dragster final, giving fans an opportunity to follow the races that remained unfinished when Sunday’s program ended.

For the Summit competitors, the Las Vegas championship represents the culmination of a season spent racing at NHRA Member Tracks and advancing through E.T. Finals competition. This year’s expanded championship brought 64 racers from across the United States and Canada to Las Vegas to compete for world titles in Super Pro, Pro, Sportsman, and Motorcycle.

Moving the conclusion to Monday changed the schedule, but the stakes remained the same: a chance to turn a season of preparation into a world championship. The streaming adjustment gave families, friends, fellow racers, and fans a way to follow those decisive rounds from home.

The coverage also included the Top Alcohol Dragster final, bringing another of the event’s remaining races to viewers as NHRA completed the weather-delayed action.

From the local tracks that launch a Summit racer’s season to the national-event stage in Las Vegas, those final rounds deserve an audience. Monday morning’s pivot helped keep fans connected through the finish.
