As a result of competition at the Denso Sonoma NHRA Nationals, five more drivers locked in their positions in the NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series Countdown to the Championship playoffs.

Kalitta Motorsports Top Fuel teammates Shawn Langdon and Doug Kalitta, three-time Funny Car world champion Ron Capps, and KB Titan Pro Stock teammates Dallas Glenn and Greg Anderson are all locked in for the playoffs that begin after the Cornwell Quality Tools NHRA U.S. Nationals.

Reigning Pro Stock Motorcycle world champion Richard Gadson, teammate and two-time world champion Gaige Herrera, and six-time world champion Matt Smith and his wife, Angie, locked in their spots previously.

Heading into the Muckleshoot Casino Resort NHRA Northwest Nationals, here's the list of drivers to have clinched their Countdown berths.
