NHRA’s 75th Anniversary salute to its racers will continue with the next collection of great racers, a list of NHRA’s Top 25 Alcohol Racers.

Much in the same way as the previously released Top 75 Drivers and Top 50 Sportsman Racers lists, the celebration of more than two dozen of the sport’s greatest Top Alcohol Dragster and Top Alcohol Funny Car racers were created by a panel of racing experts from all walks of the sport.

Explained NHRA National Dragster Editor Phil Burgess, “When we added 25 modern-day racers to the original 2001 Top 50 Drivers list to form this year's Top 75 Drivers list, we realized that there were so many Professional racers who had risen to glory in the last 25 years that the list would inevitably omit many great racers from other classes. The first subset that was clearly underrepresented was the Sportsman racers and, within that, the Top Alcohol racers, so we thought it was appropriate to give each their own list.”

The Top 25 Alcohol Racers list will be released over the next few weeks.
