The 2024 California Hot Rod Reunion came to an exhilarating finish on Sunday, Oct. 27, 2024, at the renowned Famoso Dragstrip in Bakersfield. With championship hopes on the line, NHRA fans were treated to a day filled with thrilling drag racing, high-stakes finals, and unforgettable moments. NHRA on FOX's Brian Lohnes was there to guide fans through each round with his signature enthusiasm, providing a recap directly from the top end of the track. As the day began, the excitement was palpable. Fans were ready to see the best nostalgia drag racers compete for the win. The energy only intensified as the races got underway, and Lohnes captured it all. He set the stage with an opening update, outlining the day’s big plans:

Heading to the semifinals, the action quickly ramped up as drivers fought for a spot in the semi's. Lohnes brought fans right into the heat of the battle with interviews at the top end. Top Fuel and Funny Car drivers showcased their determination and intensity as they advanced to the next round:
