Don Prudhomme relives his breakthrough win at the 1965 Winternationals

Don “the Snake” Prudhomme collected his first NHRA event win and his first of five at the Winternationals, driving Roland Leong’s Hawaiian Top Fueler to victory. The duo used the Pomona win as a springboard to tour back East and also won that year’s U.S. Nationals.
