A car show in North Carolina inspired Wayne Jesel to re-visit his drag racing roots for this weekend’s Night at the Musuem. Jesel and partner Tony Massari raced Junior Stock back in the 1960s with a 1956 Chevy Sedan Delivery. His re-creation is one of the latest additions to the NHRA Wally Parks Motorsports Museum in Southern California. The original race car was sponsored by Yoo Hoo beverage company with the blessing of then board member Yogi Berra, the New Yankees legend. Jesel and his brother Danny would go to race in other Sportsman classes and have had incredible success in the motorsports industry.
