NHRA seeks candidates for three new key positions

The NHRA has openings for three key new positions within the sanctioning body: Vice President of Marketing & Brand Strategy, Multimedia Content Director, and National Events Business Manager.

NHRA is seeking an innovative, results-oriented leader for the newly created position of Vice President of Marketing and Brand Strategy. As a member of the executive leadership team, this person will play a key role in leading the marketing strategy and branding efforts for the organization.  This person must have a vision for unifying and strengthening NHRA’s brand across all NHRA offerings, partnerships, and distribution platforms. He or she must also effectively communicate this vision to internal and external stakeholders.

The Multimedia Content Director will develop and execute coordinated editorial strategy and content production plans across all NHRA media platforms including print, web, mobile, digital video, television, and social media. The director will also work to ensure consistency in editorial voice, identify and elevate key storylines, and coordinate internal content production for each medium with the goals of satisfying both hardcore and casual fans while growing total audience over time.

The National Events Business Manager is another new and important role.  NHRA is seeking an experienced, versatile, and diligent individual to assist with contract compliance, field auditing, and the financial settlement process for 24 national drag racing events and various related initiatives. As a new position within the organization, the National Events Business Manager will play a key role in helping to ensure proper revenue recognition/accounting and facilitate the proliferation of best practices in event management by working with track owners, racing teams, and other key business partners of NHRA.  The Business Manager will work closely with peers across departments including Accounting, Sales & Marketing, Finance, Ticketing, Racing Operations, Membership, IT, and Legal to achieve the collective goals of the organization.
