Event Info
As the next-to-last event that will decide the season’s NHRA Mello Yello world championships, plenty is at stake in Las Vegas at this event. Every run is important because a slip at this point could be worse than snake eyes at the other Strip’s craps tables. The venue is the same as in the spring, but the weather may be different, making for high drama at an event where world titles are on the line.

First Responders
Throughout the 2018 season, the NHRA will pay tribute to the legion of first responders, the heroes who are among the first people to arrive and assist at the scene of an emergency.
NHRA Salutes First Responders will honor medical professionals, law-enforcement officers, firefighters, members of the armed forces, and a number of other professions charged with the safety and well-being of the public, much like the Safety Safari is charged with the safety and well-being of the racing community.
