NHRA’s version of a weeklong campout is a popular stop due to the race's recreational opportunities. Racegoers are known for enjoying the camaraderie of trolling the huge on-site campground, “the Zoo”. A 700-foot concrete launchpad also helps boost performances at the second-to-last event at which teams can secure positions for the Countdown to the Championship.
