STEVE HAGBERG’S 426 HEMI RO23 BELVEDERE II: ONE OF 55

Steve Hagberg's super-clean A/SA ’67 RO23 Plymouth Belvedere II is No. 15 of just 55 factory-packaged race cars produced by Plymouth at its famed Lynch Road plant and exemplifies the type of excellence in engineering of the 1960s muscle-car era.

The famously-styled hood scoop betrays the car’s rather docile exterior as beneath the hood lurks a 426 Hemi. Delivered race-ready without heater, radio, body insulation, carpet underlay and seam sealer, RO23 Belvederes were several pounds lighter than stock models, and today go for upwards of $100,000 at auction.
