The ground-shaking sounds of 10,000-horsepower machines will again take over Father’s Day Weekend at picturesque Bristol Dragway as the NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series returns for the 17th annual NHRA Thunder Valley Nationals, June 16-18.

The NHRA Summit Racing Jr. Drag Racing League is celebrating its 25th anniversary of giving youngsters a start in the sport in a controlled environment. The program was officially launched at the NHRA Summernationals in 1992 and remains the gold standard upon which all youth-oriented racing programs are judged.

Troy Coughlin maintained the qualifying lead for the NHRA J&A Service Pro Mod Drag Racing Series portion of the NHRA Summernationals at Old Bridge Township Raceway Park and won his opening-round race.

After four rounds of qualifying, Antron Brown, Courtney Force, Bo Butner, and LE Tonglet are the pro class leaders at the NHRA Summernationals at Old Bridge Raceway Park in Englishtown, N.J.
