Two-time Funny Car champion Matt Hagan won the first two events of the 2017 season, and will look to do the same to open the 2018 campaign as the NHRA Drag Racing season begins at the Lucas Oil NHRA Winternationals presented by ProtectTheHarvest.com.

NHRA officials announced that Numidia Dragway will host an NHRA Northeast Division Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series event on June 15-17, 2018.  This event replaces the originally scheduled event at Old Bridge Township Raceway Park and marks the first return to the Numidia Dragway since 2004.

There are a lot of unknowns entering every drag racing season, but for “Fast Jack” Beckman, his team won’t be one of them as Don Schumacher Racing was able to keep together the entire Infinite Hero Funny Car crew, from crew chiefs John Medlen, Dean Antonelli, and Neal Strasbaugh on down the line.
