BIO

Fernando Cuadra Sr., of Leon, Mexico, made his debut in Pro Stock in 2003 and qualified for his first event in 2004 with Frank Iaconio power. After leaving NHRA to attend to business needs, he returned to racing in 2018 after 14-year absence. Corral Boots owner Cuadra now races alongside his three sons under the Elite Motorsports banner. In 2019, Fernando Jr. and Cristian joined him in the Pro Stock ranks, while Cristian's twin, David, raced in Top Sportsman in the NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series. In 2023, David won the family's first national event title and also earned his Pro Stock license. At the 2023 Four-Wide Nationals in Charlotte, the quad of Cuadras lined up for the first time in qualifying to race down the quarter-mile dragstrip together, marking the first time the feat had been done by a father and three sons.
